50th Anniversary Celebration
The City of Rosemead is in preparation for it's 50th Anniversary City Celebration. This huge event, unlike any other ever seen in the city’s history is scheduled to take place at the Rosemead Community Center Grounds on Saturday January 31st. This 1950’s themed event will feature plenty of food, two stages with live music, entertainment, dancing under stars, a historical museum exhibit, soda bars, raffles, games and prizes. This huge indoor & outdoor event will be open to all ages and will kick off our 50th Year of celebrations!
The City of Rosemead would like your help in creating a Historical Exhibit dedicated to the City of Rosemead. If you know of anyone who has old historical footage of Rosemead and would be interested in premiering it in the City’s 50th Anniversary Historical Exhibit please contact Javier at (626) 569-2212. If you have any historical items (film, photos, art, stories & or documents) or know of someone who does please give us a call. Rosemead’s Historical Exhibit will be publicly viewable at all their 50th Anniversary City Celebrations in 2009.
